The Korean Journal of Arts Studies is a comprehensive academic journal designed to promote academic activities which contribute to advancing art theories, nurturing creative art education and developing art and culture. The Korea National Research Center (KRECA) attached to the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) publishes this journal twice a year, on June 30 and December 30. We publicly invite creative and high-quality papers which can contribute to establishing a new paradigm, developing education and fostering educators in the art field.

•  Method of Submission

   

  1) The submitted paper must be a purely academic one, which has never been published in any other journal or book.

  2) Papers shall be submitted via e-mail(kreca@naver.com)  during the year with the author’s workplace, title, specialty, phone number and e-mail address attached.

  3) Every paper shall be submitted in the form of an hwp. file but it is permissible to submit in the form of an MS Word (doc. or docx.) file in case the paper is sent from overseas. Each paper shall be approximately 150 pages of gridded manuscript paper for 200 characters, the standard format in Korea.

  4) All papers including those written in foreign language shall include an attached abstract in both Korean and the particular foreign language, with five to six keywords in both Korean and the foreign language, as well as a bibliography.

  5) Although in principle there is no limit in qualifications of an applicant, only those with at least a master’s degree or equivalent may submit.
